Meeting Facilities
Kalani offers a variety of meeting areas where you can conduct your workshop.
Hale Lodges
Our three split level lodges or Hales (pronounced Ha'-lay, Hawaiian for "house" or "lodge") each have an upstairs screened meeting space with a 1,000 square-foot suspended hardwood floor.
These studios seat up to 40 people for lectures, or accommodate approximately 20 people for movement practice.
The downstairs has a shared kitchen and several bathrooms to accommodate groups during breaks.
Guest House
The Guest House (a one-story lodge) contains a 700 square-foot common area (including kitchen) suitable for intimate, small group meetings.
Rainbow Room
The Rainbow Room offers a total of 3,200 square feet, with a 2,100 square-foot suspended wood floor with sound system, restrooms, showers and water fountain. Perfect for large group activities like yoga, dance or music performance.
Blue Moon Room
The Blue Moon Room offers 6,600 square feet with a 5,000 square-foot suspended wood floor with restrooms, showers, and water fountain. Perfect for group activities requiring a larger space.
EMAX greenhouse
The EMAX (Earnest Morgan Arts Exuberance Center) offers 4,500 square feet with suspended wood floor overlooking the ocean. Used mostly for regular yoga/dance/martial arts classes, ecstatic dance, and performances.
Sweat Lodge
Our sweat lodge was recently reconstructed with solid lava rock, beamed wooden ceiling, and a traditional fire-pit. It can be made available for rituals and ceremonies.
Meadow
Our meadow is available for outdoor activities such as movement classes or meditation.
Booking a Meeting Space
Please let us know in advance which meeting space(s) you will require during your stay. Due to the presence of several groups at once, we recommend you book your space (included in group rates) as early as possible.
Equipment and Support
In order to accommodate you during your workshop, we have available a large variety of items for your use, at no additional cost.
You will receive a list of these items eight weeks prior to your arrival. Items can include:
- Backjacks (floor-level seating with back support)
- Flipchart with stand
- Cassette / CD player with speakers
- Yoga mats, blankets, straps, props
- TV and VCR/DVD player
- Folding chair and tables
- Massage tables
