Delilah's Belly Dance Retreats
During these dates we have 2 exciting and different programs for learning and developing belly dance techniques and enjoyment.

PART 1 (Jan. 29th-Feb.3rd) Belly Dance with two world class belly dance celebrities; Fahtiem and Delilah and drum classes with Erik Brown. Both are very seasoned and dedicated teachers who love this art and how it empowers our lives. Open to all levels. PLUS an Instructors program with Delilah will run concurrently. PART 2  (Feb.3rd-9th) features Belly Dance with Delilah combined with the lovely art of Nia with Jennifer Earle . Dancers of all levels can join us. The first workshop is especially good for beginners because of the instructors course running at the same time. Each beginner will be assigned a personal dance coach. The second retreat will be a wonderful joining of arts. Great for belly dancers who want to learn about Nia, and Nia dancers who want to try belly dance. Both of these movement forms teach you about YOU. They increase self awareness and vivify your life force!

Fahtiem has performed throughout the United States, including engagements on cruise ships and performances on cable and network TV.  Her love and commitment to the dance is evident in her efforts to motivate each dancer to their individual best. Erik

Erik Brown

Erik began serious study of Arabic percussion in 2003 after a ground breaking lesson with master percussionist Souhail  Kaspar. As an eternal student he has continued to study with many master percussionists including Faisel Zedan, Said el Artist, Issam Houshan Karim Nagi, Uncle Mafufo , and Tobias Roberson to name a few. Today, Erik is one of the most sought after player in the northwest, and he’s renowned for his ability to connect with dancers during live performances. As the Tabla player for the “House of Tarab” ensemble Erik strives to represent an authentic sound in Arabic music.   www.houseoftarab.com

JenniferJennifer Earle

Jennifer was born and raised in The Bronx, NY and relocated to Seattle in 2005. She loves the Pacific Northwest and has loved movement since she can remember and has always been a kinesthetic learner. She has been an avid explorer and participant of the movement arts since 1993. Most of her movement journey has been in various types of dance including African, Afro-Caribbean, Latin, Bellydancing, Yoga and Nia. In addition to these physical movement modalities, Jennifer engages her mind and creativity with writing, reading, painting, and the art of listening.
