Aloha, Retreat Centers' Owners, Managers and Supporters,
Take advantage of a unique opportunity to attend the annual RETREAT CENTERS' CONFERENCE on the remote, spectacular Puna Coast of Hawaii (The Big Island)! Kalani is Hawaii's largest conservation/non-commercial coastal Retreat Center. This year's Retreat Centers Conference not only invites Centers from the Americas, but from the Pacific Rim and beyond. Whether your Center is in the heart of the city or the edge of the great outdoors, we all share many of the same challenges and intentions.
Connect with Retreat Center Managers from different parts of the world. Learn and grow from participating in Conference sessions on sustainability, marketing in a down-economy, connecting to the world-community, continued personal transformation, sharing what works and what doesn't, and "holding space" for a world in need of change and growth.
We'll have wonderful adventures and entertainment scheduled for you. And you can stay at Kalani before and after the Conference for YOUR personal Hawaiian vacation! You can take advantage of our pool, spas, sauna, weight-room, and world-class massage and watsu therapists. We offer over 50 classes a week, including 20 yoga classes/week.
Our immediate area offers black-sand beaches, spinner dolphin visits, State parks, lava tubes, tide pool snorkeling, turtle ponds, our ever-active volcano and more! Airfares should be reasonable during this low, off-season time.
(Please note: Hawai`i weather has no off-season... It is beautiful year-round here!)

Travel options: Hawai`i is the Aloha State’s largest, most spectacular and least crowded island, with 2 major airports – Hilo and Kona. Because Hilo (the State’s second largest city) is just a 45 minute drive to Kalani, we recommend that you route through Honolulu to Hilo. If you are not renting a car, Kalani provides a shuttle from/to Hilo airport only. Fee each way is reduced to $40 for conference participants. There are direct flights to Kona, however you must rent a car for the 3 hour drive to/from Kalani, which provides opportunity to view the verdant northern or vast southern land-and-seascapes.
Upon receipt of your email we will send you a confirmation and a packet of information regarding traveling here and your stay, along with further details about the conference program.
For travel from the mainland, check the airlines below as they offer very reasonable fares: southwestairlines.com and hawaiianairlines.com.
