Open your heart with Ram Dass, Krishna Das, and Saul David Raye on the Big Island of Hawaii. The program includes daily yoga with Saul David Raye, guided vipassana meditation, devotional chanting with Krishna Das, and daily talks by Ram Dass. Participants will have opportunities for bodywork and healing therapies, exploring the black sand beaches, waterfalls, and nearby volcano, swimming and sunbathing at the pool or ocean, and exploring the natural beauty on the grounds of the secluded Kalani retreat center. Nightly fire circles will celebrate spirit through native ancestral traditions. Mind, body, and spirit will be nourished through meditation, healthy and delicious cuisine, and inspirational teachings.

About the Facilitator(s)

Ram Dass is a spiritual teacher and author who shifted the consciousness of a generation through the 1971 publication of his book ‘BE HERE NOW’. He has continued to teach and inspire old and new audiences through his lectures, and has written numerous books on service and spiritual growth. He no longer travels and only participates in a limited number of events on Hawaii each year.

Krishna Das path is serving the Divine through chanting and the practice of bhakti yoga, the yoga of devotion. He travels the world, leading call and response kirtan, teaching and inspiring through delightful stories and readings.

Saul David Raye is a highly acclaimed and inspirational teacher, known for his empowering and transformational approach to yoga, healing and spirituality. Saul studied and practiced Traditional Thai massage, pranic healing and Vipassana meditation in Thailand for over two years, and is a certified Thai massage instructor.

Therese Fitzgerald brings decades of Dharma practice at the San Francisco and Tassajara Zen Centers and then with Vietnamese Zen monk and peace activist, Thich Nhat Hanh, who ordained her as a Dharma teacher. Therese has served as Director of the Buddhist Peace Fellowship and co-founder of the Community of Mindful Living, which developed programs for social service in Vietnam. Therese is presently director and teacher of Dharma Friends, based on Maui.
