The Kalani Art show was a potpourri of art, performance and fashion, sparkling with color and lights and the energy of all its participants. The art displayed was from local residents and volunteers.
There was a special basket-weaving project using local plants and flowers under the direction of Alaska Artist-in Residence Mavis Muller. Performances included hula, latin dance, storytelling and poems. Fashions were created by local artists and volunteers.
It was an awesome time! Hope you can make the next one!
