Kalani is excited to be a part of the 12/12/12 festival, as we celebrate this extraordinary time of change. The festival, which will run from December 12th until Winter Solstice, December 21st, is hosted by communities and facilities throughout lower Puna.

Kalani will be hosting the festival on Sunday, December 16th, with an event called THRIVE - celebrating Wellness and Healing in our community. We invite you to participate in all or part of this beautiful day at this exquisite time in our lives - and focus your attention on your own healing journey, and vibrant wellness!


8:30 – 10:00 – Community Yin Yoga Class Align your body with the intention of the day, with this beautiful yin yoga class.


10:30 – 12:30 – Ecstatic Dance featuring Shaman’s Dream Kalani’s Ecstatic Dance will feature Shaman’s Dream, hot off the Ecstatic Dance Retreat and playing yoga festivals and events throughout North America.


2:00 – 3:00 – Hoʻoponopono with Kahuna Harry Uhane Jim Harry Jim is the author of Wise Secrets of Aloha, and a kahuna in lomilomi and lapaʻau (healing arts.) Join this extraordinary native Hawaiian kumu for an hour exploring Hoʻoponopono, a traditional Hawaiian healing practice based on forgotten ways of thinking and feeling.


3:00 – 5:00 – Thrive: Wellness Lounge Bring your healing energies, talents, and energetic support as we transform EMAX into a high-vibrancy healing zone. Give and receive sample wellness treatments, move to the down-tempo healing sounds of our feature DJ, and be filled with gratitude as you witness our community’s strength surge from the focused attention of well-being.


5:00 – 6:00 – Sound Healing with Cymber Lily An exquisite sound healing experience, Cymber Lily performs improvised meditation harp music based on the 5 seasons and 5 organ systems of Traditional Chinese Medicine.
