Kalani Cooking Series Continues!  
Join us Saturday, September 12 from 2-4 pm. at Kalani Lower Mauka 25.

In this class, Chef Mark Ceranski will teach the secrets of authentic Italian cuisine in a multi-course meal.

The starter will be Stracciatella alla Romana, a classic soup containing homemade chicken stock, local eggs and spinach.  The pasta course will include a pasta with arugula, cherry tomatoes and red pepper, a dish popular in the Southern Italian region of Puglia.  The main course will focus on simple sauces for fish and chicken, including piccata and variations on a lemon-butter sauce.  The dessert will be a surprise!  

Author and Chef Mark Ceranski lives in Puna, having served as an executive chef for a Saudi Prince, a Formula One team owner, and countless British dignitaries.
Stories from Mark’s upcoming book, “Potboiler: In the Kitchen with Royalty, Dictators and Despots,” will thematically influence Mark’s class. Whether cooking on a budget or with none in mind, these secrets will help your dishes delight.   

Admission: $25 ($20 kama'aina). Volunteer price is $10. Reservations are strongly recommended, as there is a 20 person limit on the class.
