About the Speaker
Keone was part of a team that recently completed five heiau (temples), with one dating back 600 years. He was the Kahuna Kuhikuhipu‘uone, (Heiau Architect). He was also part of a group that also brought back the Hawaiian practice of hōlua in the mid 1990s. He has continued to educate people in various age groups about the Hawaiian culture, values, and lifestyle throughout his life.
Keone will be talking about the role he has played in helping to preserve specific Hawaiian Culture sites.
